展現英(ying)語(yu)風采(cai)，訴(su)說微笑力量。5月18日下(xia)午，山東職業(ye)學院(yuan)第一(yi)屆英(ying)語(yu)文化節(jie)開(kai)幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)題英(ying)語(yu)演講比賽在圖書館(guan)行政樓東報告廳舉(ju)行，學院(yuan)副院(yuan)長郭鵬出(chu)席開(kai)幕式并致辭，基(ji)礎部(bu)(思政部(bu))主(zhu)任(ren)賈明斌、團委書記王(wang)偉、國際交流中心主(zhu)任(ren)呂子泉蒞(li)臨比賽現場。
副院(yuan)長(chang)郭鵬在致辭(ci)中指出(chu)，隨著我(wo)們國(guo)家高(gao)鐵(tie)國(guo)際化(hua)戰略的(de)(de)推進(jin)實施和(he)學(xue)院(yuan)建設(she)優(you)質(zhi)(zhi)高(gao)職院(yuan)校的(de)(de)改(gai)革(ge)發展，培養高(gao)素質(zhi)(zhi)應(ying)用(yong)型人才(cai)目(mu)標中學(xue)生(sheng)英(ying)語(yu)應(ying)用(yong)水平凸顯重(zhong)要性，此次隆(long)重(zhong)舉辦我(wo)院(yuan)第一屆英(ying)語(yu)文化(hua)節目(mu)的(de)(de)就是為(wei)(wei)了(le)進(jin)一步突出(chu)英(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習(xi)(xi)的(de)(de)重(zhong)要性，鍛煉同學(xue)們的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)口語(yu)及實際交流應(ying)用(yong)能(neng)力，營造學(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英(ying)語(yu)學(xue)習(xi)(xi)氛圍(wei)，為(wei)(wei)打造特色(se)學(xue)習(xi)(xi)型校園(yuan)進(jin)行的(de)(de)一次非(fei)常有(you)(you)益和(he)有(you)(you)意義的(de)(de)嘗試(shi)。
本屆英(ying)(ying)語文(wen)化節歷時一(yi)個(ge)月(yue)，由基(ji)礎(chu)部、團委和國際交流中心共同(tong)舉辦，是響應學(xue)院建設國內領先(xian)、國際先(xian)進的(de)優(you)質(zhi)高職院校目(mu)標，通過開展英(ying)(ying)語演(yan)講比賽、英(ying)(ying)文(wen)歌曲大(da)賽、英(ying)(ying)語配音秀、英(ying)(ying)文(wen)海報(bao)比賽和英(ying)(ying)語角等系列主(zhu)題活(huo)動，旨在營造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)習英(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)(ying)語的(de)濃(nong)厚(hou)氛(fen)圍(wei)，提升大(da)學(xue)生的(de)學(xue)英(ying)(ying)語、說(shuo)英(ying)(ying)語、用(yong)好(hao)英(ying)(ying)語的(de)水平(ping)，活(huo)動內容新穎豐(feng)富，貼(tie)近學(xue)習生活(huo)。
經過(guo)前期的(de)預賽(sai)，最(zui)終有來自(zi)各(ge)系的(de)15位(wei)(wei)選手站上了決(jue)賽(sai)的(de)舞(wu)臺，他們圍繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示英語演講風采(cai)，他們的(de)演講或(huo)慷慨激(ji)昂、情(qing)感熱烈，或(huo)述說細(xi)膩、娓(wei)娓(wei)道來，加之與外教(jiao)Kim、Daleen的(de)現場互(hu)動問答(da)，贏得了臺下觀眾(zhong)的(de)陣陣掌(zhang)聲。經過(guo)激(ji)烈的(de)比(bi)(bi)拼(pin)，最(zui)終張嘉琳、袁(yuan)嘉賢、周(zhou)穎、曲昌(chang)、高雪菲5位(wei)(wei)同(tong)學(xue)榮獲(huo)了此(ci)次比(bi)(bi)賽(sai)的(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
